Full Review for Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance by solidsnake200

Introduction

This is a great game that invokes military stratagy with a great plot. It opens with a Ike fencing with his father. Then he joins his families mercenary business. As the story progress, his country gets invaded and conqured. He finds the princess fleeing the enemy and she hires them to take her to Gallia. They end up taking back their country and saving it from the Mad King.

Graphics

The graphics on the main battle screen are not great. It is kind of difficult to tell the diffrence between units of the same class and army. The battle animation however is great. The only problem is that it gets really repetitive and that the battle takes too long. Eventually you will probily just turn them off.

Sound

Fire Emblem has a great sound track in general. Meaning that the whole series has a great music and sound. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is no diffrent from any of the other games in the series with the music standered. The game just has good music and sound.

Gameplay

The gameplay on this game is really no diffrent form any of the other fire emblem games in the series. It has a nice totrial for people who just picked it up and it has advanced commands for the pros. It is really easy to use and you can really just pick it up and play the game without knowing what you are doing.

Lastability

This game has decent play time with about 20-40 hours. What makes you keep playing is the plot whick is really well thought out. You also play to transfer your data to Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn which might take you a bit longer. There are also a few good trial battles to play once you have beaten the game.

Overall

This is a really good game. It has decent graphics. The sound is really quite good. What really makes this a great game however is the plot. It is just extreamly good in the way it makes you keep going to find out what happens. It is also quite a challenging game that makes you think about what you are doing. I would recomend buying this game.
