Final Fantasy XII Remake features a new weapon upgrade progression system that allows you to enhance your skills and fine-tune the fighting style of each character by using the SP (Skill Points) you earn when you level up to upgrade weapons.

Make sure that you frequently visit the 'Weapons and Equipment' menu in order to check your characters weapons to see if you have a SP to spend on them.
