Full Review for Eragon by koolstr

Introduction

Eragon is about a boy who finds a weird looking sapphire stone and goes out on an adventure. The game is good, but is a lot shorter than you think. This game is not nearly as good as the one on the other systems, but it is good enough to keep yourself entertained for a while.

Graphics

The graphics are pretty good, although not nearly as good as the game for the ps2, pc, etc...It is not that bad graphics, but I must admit it IS pretty basic graphics. Not too well made. You can barely see the characters faces. But when you use a spell, it shows it's full potential in graphics. And Saphira's pretty cool too. A lot of detail in it, I must admit.

Sound

Sound goes into very detailed ans specific. Every little movement you make makes a sound. Whenever he attacks, he yells out. A river or a stream; you can hear the water streaming past. Killing somebody: You can hear their gulch and the slashes and everything. When you walk it makes slight crunching sounds. Pretty good.

Gameplay

A good storyline. The gameplay is fun. There is about seven different spells that are really interesting. You have to draw them on the screen to activate it and it gets really cool. Its fun, but doesn't last too long. Many varieties of enemies and it keeps you busy at times. Has a few minigames added to it, but there is no wifi or link up. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Lastability

Doesn't last very long. An average gameplayer will most probably beat it in about a week or so. You can only fight the final boss once and it's over. Gets boring as you go through. Not a lot of variety in it either. Since there is no wifi, it ain't so fun. But there still are some minigames to keep you busy, of course.

Overall

The game is pretty good. I like it, but I still don't think it was worth buying. My friend has it on the ps2 and he says it is awesome; graphics and all. He still didn't beat it. So, graphics: meh, sound: good, gameplay: good, and lastability: sucks.
