Gameplay

If you've played Spyro the Dragon or the Mario series then gameplay on Dragon Land is going to feel familiar as they have the same concept. Although you will find completing the stages easy enough the challenge is in finding the gems and keys that are hidden somewhere in the level. The game uses a restrictive energy system that grants you five hearts (lives) to complete the level and failing to do so forces you to either wait a set amount of time for one to recharge or watch an advert in exchange for a heart. Although the enemies do not appear powerful most of them will make you pay for making a mistake by inflicting plenty of damage which will quickly sap your life.
