Missions are basically objectives that will give you one-time rewards for meeting the tasks indicated in the missions. You'll start with basic Korin and Special Missions. As you proceed with the story quests, you'll eventually unlock Kami and King Kai missions. These missions have no expiration so you can take your time completing them.
