Premise

2029--two years after what transpired in the "Aug Incident" in Human Revolution. This event marked when mechanically augmented humans became violent and unstoppable. The public does not know, those augmented humans with lethal behavior are actually controlled by Illuminati with an implanted technology that came with their augmentation. However, it is only a rogue member of the group that does this in order to give horrible image to the augmentations technology and the companies and institutions that use it.

The group successfully concealed the truth behind rumors and massive disinformation. The augmented are now outcasts from normal humans in an era aptly called "mechanical apartheid."

Join Adam Jensen, a private security officer now working with Interpol to capture the terrorist group composed of augmented humans. Jensen, though, secretly works for the Juggernaut collective, a hacker group with an objective to confront the Illuminati.
