Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include how to recruit certain type of humans and how to excuse yourself from awkward situations.
- Complete the Main Story
To begin with, it is recommended that you focus on completing the main storyline as doing so will give you access to more or better weaponry, abilities, upgrades, and locations. Once you have unlocked everything you will find the game a lot easier as you will have a devastating arsenal at your disposal when you roam around.
- Recruiting Humans
If you are struggling to get a specific type of human for your Gene Blender you may want to consider attacking the building they are associated with. For example, if you wanted a police man you would shoot death rays at a police station. If however the human belongs to a faction such as the Yakuza or Russian Mafia you first need to find their restricted zones before their buildings can become your targets.
- Excuse yourself from Awkward Situations
You only have two options when you are in a host and need to create a distraction to excuse yourself from an awkward situation. You can either use the Free Love weapon or the Free Love's Party Time effect to reenergize your bodysnatched host.
- Recruit an Underling for Protection
Use mind control to get an underling to follow, preferably one that has a gun which they can use to protect you. Always perform a quiet bodysnatch on a target of interest by first getting them to 'Follow' you to somewhere private before performing the 'Bodysnatch'.
