Pay attention to the icon that is located at the bottom center of your screen as this indicates whether you are fighting in the light or the dark. The dark areas of the temple you traverse are filled with enemies and traps, so it is essential that you seek out light sources as you progress. Whenever there are none available you need to create your own by lighting braziers, cobwebs, and even enemies.
