In Clash of Empire you play the role of a lord who must build an empire that is capable of conquering the world. In order to capture territories occupied by other players and monsters, you will need to recruit historical figures from our own history to lead your troops. These historical figures include Genghis Khan, Richard the Lionheart, and Joan of Arc.

Below is a collection of cheats and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include joining an alliance and getting free gold. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

• Resource Production

  It is important that you focus on resource production when you begin playing Clash of Empire as you will need a huge supply for upgrading your buildings, which does not cost a lot initially but will eventually start requiring massive amounts as you progress in the game.

  Therefore, you need to make sure you start building sawmills, farms, iron mines, and silver mines as quickly as you can to get production started. Upgrading your buildings will determine how many resources you have stored at a given time. The more you level up your buildings, the more of an issue resource storage becomes.

• Join an Alliance

  Joining an alliance should be one of your first priorities when you play Clash of Empire, as doing so will enable you to ask for help in fortifying your city before the protection of the peace shield wears off, and you can be raided by other players. Getting help from your alliance will mean faster building queues.

  Also, by joining an alliance you will be eligible to earn alliance points whenever you help your allies, these you will then be able to spend on goodies at the alliance shop.

• Keep Training Troops

  In Clash of Empires the troops the casualties you sustain in battle that do not fit into your hospital are forever lost, so you need to make sure you are continually keeping your Range, Workshop, Barracks, and Stables working at all times, so you have replacement soldiers to replace them. You can always increase the number of troops you can train at a time by building more Military Tents.

• Appoint your Heroes

  When you create a Clash of Empire account you will be given 10 advanced summoning tickets and 10 basic summoning tickets. From these you should be able to draw an S or A tier character which you must then appoint to the right function for them to be effective.

  You can always check to see if you have appointed your hero correctly and also upgrade them when you have the necessary requirement by visiting the Hero Hall building in your city.

• Get Free Gold

  The premium currency of Clash of Empire is gold and the best way to get it free is to unlock a gold mine. In order to do this, you will need precious stones:

• Small Stone

  Activates the mine for 4 hours.

• Medium Stone

  Activates the mine for 8 hours.

• Large Stone

  Activates the mine for 24 hours.

Once you have one of these precious stones, you can start a mine. Select the desired type of stone, set its amount and press the yellow 'Use' button.

Gold mines can be upgraded using cores and once they have been upgraded to Level 3 your gold will be automatically collected after filling the gold mine and sent to the post office. The higher the Gold mines are upgraded, the more free gold you will get from them.

• Participate in Events

  Regularly check the 'Event Center' which is located on the top right of the screen to follow the announcements of in-game events. These are worthwhile participating in as they provide useful rewards. The red exclamation mark on the event icon indicates there is a good possibility that you will be able to claim the reward on offer.
