Full Review for Castlevania: Lament of Innocence by kirbyteen

Introduction

This game takes place in a forest(and castle).The main character is Leon,who is looking for his beloved Sara.There is a shop for items and etc.You are equiped with a brown whip made with alchemy.You also learn combos(which rocks!).The castle itself is called Castlevania.

Graphics

Very nice graphics,but the enemies look is not as nice(some of them look great).
The shadow affects are great,but the enemies has a big black spot under them.The people looks great and detailed.The graphics actually pushes the PS2's graphics far.The monster still needs improvement though.

Sound

Sweet Music,and Sound Fx Kicks butt.Put this in surround,it is worth it.The voice over is great!Especially in the cutscenes,and Leon's voice sound a bit like Yu-Gi.No,there is'nt Yu-Gi in the game(thank god there is'nt).Boys might find Sara's voice attracting.

Gameplay

Controls are good but not great.There are a few camera issues,but not all the time.
Sometime's it is frustrating to fight big enemies and bosses......Yeah....they are that bad....The ps2's controller can be uncomftorable at times.If it came on the Gamecube,it may have been better.

Lastability

So much unlockables,and extras makes this game a must have.Such unlockable's are character's,sound/music test(my fave),and so on.I have'nt even beaten it yet!Many people would rather listen to it's music than play it........So this is how good the music is.

Overall

This game rocks!I would have liked to give it a 10,but it still needs improvement.
It's actual score is 9.6.Great job Konami!Yet they should have placed Soma Cruz in it(Maybe he is),and made you choose between Soma amd Leon.Or had a Soma Vesion.So yeah,this could have happend.
