If you are struggling to progress you may need to backtrack as there are places that you explored early in the game which when you return to later with the new abilites you have unlocked you will be able to access aspects that were unavailable to you before. Found at the Nuclear Power Plant.

Keratosis DNA

Found at the Armored Warfare facility.

Hydrophilia DNA

Found at the Leviathan Reef Base.
