Added:

These are specific moments where you have to save an ally in trouble or force an enemy to surrender. These moments are encountered in fixed parts of the mission and will not be counted if the involved ally or enemy is killed. There are also specific “triggers” before these moments will become available so even if you know beforehand where the necessary allies or enemies involved, you may not find them there until you complete some required actions or objectives.

Fortunately, Heroic Actions usually occur near checkpoints so if you missed the chance or accidentally killed the involved enemy or ally, you can just reload the last checkpoint and try again. Also, if you successfully performed the heroic action but got killed and have to reload the checkpoint again, you don’t have to repeat the heroic action anymore as long as you successfully register it the last time.

After clearing the first concrete bunker, you’ll get the mission update to clear the next bunker. While running along the trenches on the way to the next bunker, you’ll come across an allied soldier in the verge of getting stabbed. Shoot any part of the nazi’s body or hit him with a melee attack to save your ally.

On the way to the third bunker with the mortar team, you’ll find this ally in danger along the corridor. You should be able to take an easy shot at the nazi or just hit him from behind with a melee attack.
