Call of Antia Tips and Tricks

Listed below are several Beginners Tips and Tricks which will help you in Call of Antia.

Follow the Chapter Missions

Call of Antia has a tutorial which guides you at the start of the game introducing you to the various features of the game when they become available. Once you have completed the Tutorial it is recommended that you follow the chapter missions as doing so will provide rewards for objectives you clear, which includes an overall reward for completing each chapter. You can access the chapter missions through its icon, which can be found at the lower left side of the screen. Each chapter contains a list of objectives that you need to clear before you can progress to the next chapter. As a beginner, you should target each objective one at a time.

Maintain a Balanced Team

In Call of Antia it is essential that you maintain a balanced team throughout the game as it has been designed in such a way that the synergy between your Heroes has more impact than their individual strengths. The gacha method in Call of Antia for recruiting Heroes makes getting the characters you want difficult which means you need to work with the characters you pull in finding ways to make them effective together.

Consider the 5 Elements

There are five different elements in Call of Antia and there is a rock-paper-scissors mechanic that determines an element's advantage over one element and disadvantage against another. These elements represent the elemental affinities of each hero, their roles or classes, and the factions they belong to. There are three basic elements - Fire (red), nature (green), and water (blue), and two special elements - light (yellow) and dark (purple). The strengths and weaknesses of the elements are as follows - Fire is strong against nature but weak against water, nature is strong against water but weak against fire, and water is strong against fire but weak against nature. Light and dark have no elemental connections to the basic elements, and are both strong and weak against one another. Elemental advantage increases damage by 100% and disadvantage reduces it by 50%. Keep in mind there are five elements and your team is composed of five Heroes, this means having each Hero represent one element is the best way of forming a team as the puzzles you tackle will represent all 5 colors and not being able to match a color because the color is not represented in your team will result in the tile matches you make of that color not yielding mana.

Character Roles are Important

Aside from the elements you also need to take into careful consideration the roles of your Heroes, these comprise offense, healer, and support characters. Offense characters do damage to enemies with their attacking skills, healers help your team to survive with their HP restoration skills, and support characters improve your team's overall performance during battle. Make sure that the team you put together is balanced by having at least one of each role.

Awaken Heroes instead of Rerolling

Although you can reroll to get the best heroes before you start your adventure, it is a long process as it takes time to earn enough gems to do a x10 pull on the gacha early. It is instead recommended that you invest in 4 and even 3-star Heroes as the chances are higher of awakening them using extra copies of the specific Heroes themselves. Awakening a Hero will make them comparable with their higher grade counterparts.

Don't Rely on Auto Mode and Hints

Call of Antia has two features that will help you when you are stuck, these are hints, which will make some sets of tiles glow several seconds after you remain idle and auto mode where the A.I. takes over the tile-matching and skill activation for you to try and defeat enemies on the stage you are playing. It is recommended that you avoid relying on both these features when you take on challenging battles as neither selects the best option available. As there is no time limit it is far more beneficial to take your time and consider all the alternatives available to you before making a move.

Join an Alliance

It is recommended that you join an alliance as soon as you are able to, as doing so will enable you to benefit from additional perks such as rewards from the Divination Hut, which allows you to pick cards for random rewards. It also allows you to join in the Alliance War whenever it is available, which will enable you to earn Alliance Points from the activities you engage in as well as additional perks from the Alliance War itself. You will be able to join an alliance once you have reached chapter 5.
