Full Review for Breath of Fire II by titanking1290

Introduction

(mostly all good points)
The storyline to this game is quite good I enjoyed it. The intro starts in gate
When the hero is a child. His father (Ganer) tells him has to look for his sister (Yua)at the bushland area next to gate. Then when he returns back to the town of gate he finds that his father is now not in charge of the church and that it was a person called father Hulk. He also found out that the village had nevar heard of his father (I think the hero found that odd as his father was the priest of that village ). I thought that the hero acted a bit unrealistic, but apart from that nothing else really to add for bad points.

Graphics

Good points.
This is game has great graphics for a game boy advance game. I liked the layout of the world map I think the graphics were quite good there. The monsters looked scary and strong. One thing I thought was good was the graphics for the towns and caves I thought that made the game more exciting to explore. Bad points. The only bad point I can think of is when you go to the cave with bow as a child it is raining that day but that is the only day in the game that it rains so that ruined it.

Sound

Good points.
The sound in this game was good but if you play a lot it may get annoying. I liked the sound when you fight a boss for some reason. The sound did not not glitch which was good. The tune inside the caves was ok when you heard it the first time but got annoying after a while. Bad points.
The sound annoyed you sometimes if you need to go to a place with the same tune a lot.

Gameplay

Good points.
The story was excellant I enjoyed it.
I enjoed fishing for items and leveling up.
I also liked the fact that Capcom added a monster island which made it easier to level up.
Bad points.
You get annoyed if you are trying to get to a certain place in a cave and monsters keep attacking you.
If you died it was very annoying having to start away back at the dragon save statue.

Lastability

For a great gamer the lastability to complete this game a hundred percent would take a few days but to complete it other ways may take up to a lifetime example you could get carpenter 1 2 3 by how much people you saved in the well.
For a person who is not so good at games to just complete may take about a few months (estimated 1-3). I rate this high because there is so much ways you can complete this like complete with out dying or complete with using items.

Overall

Overall Capcom have made a great game as it is one of my favourites. The storyline is sad and exciting. One of the best points is that they kept a few characters names from breath of fire one. The other good point is you don't need to play breath of fire one.
A bad point I would have loved it if they made the game longer even though the game is long.
I recommend anyone that likes role playing games to at least see the game.
