Collections: Voxophones

Scattered throughout the game on most levels can be found the Voxophones Collection - portable mechanical sound recording and playback devices that use vinyl records - and each has information to be listened to that adds to either the immediate story of the long-term plot, so obviously they are really worth listening to!

The vast majority are not hidden or are only partly concealed, but a few are outright hidden, and when you add to that the fact that there is NO tracking system in the game that you can refer to - no ticklist page that shows you by chapter what you have found - only the list and description of each on the page in the Utility Menu interface at which you can select and play them, keeping track of them can be a nightmare.

The good news is that if you do miss some, you can use the Chapter Load option to replay a chapter to get the ones you missed - provided that you know which ones you missed of course, and that is what this page is really intended to help with, as it contains the full list of the Voxophones with a notation as to where they can be found!

Note: ZHC in the Author slot indicates that the recording was made by Zachary Hale Comstock, AKA The Prophet.

After you collect the final Voxophone and give it a listen you will unlock the Achievement / Trophy Eavesdropper (50G) Collected every Voxophone.

It seems that once one of the collection items is collected it only counts AFTER you reach the next automatic save point, which is a factor that you should take into consideration if you end up needing to dip into the chapters via the Chapter Select menu in order to clear up any outstanding orphans in your collection. That being the case, after you collect one you will want to continue to play until you see that a save checkpoint has been reached, as otherwise it may not be permanently added to your collection.
