How to Open the Stone Slab in Baldur's Gate 3
In Baldur's Gate 3 the Stone Slab is a door that connects the Enclave Library and the Underground Passage. Opening this secret entrance enables you to sneak into the Enclave Library without the other Druids knowing, or it can be used as a getaway passage to sneak out of Emerald Grove if you have turned the Druids hostile. - The Enclave Library
The Enclave Library can be found within the Emerald Grove, it is a room filled with books and experiments done by the druids. When you meet Nettie the healer she will promptly lead you there and you will quickly find yourself trapped inside. You will also discover that the door you came through is sealed by a stone slab.
- How to Open the Stone Slab Door
In order to escape the Enclave Library you need to kill Nettie. You then need to loot Nettie's corpse for the antidote for your poison and pick up the Arcane Circlet she drops. If you equip this helmet to one of your party members you will be able to interact with the Stone Slab door to magically open it and leave the Enclave Library.
- How to Get Past the Poison Door
The party member wearing the Arcane Circlet can also open the second exit that is in the room. The second door can be found behind the wolf statue and is protected by a poisonous cloud that you will need to deal with. To do so you need to drink the antidote to the poison that you looted when you killed Nettie.
Doing this will make you immune to poison until your next rest. You will now be able to walk through the door and move a piece of the broken wolf statue to cover the poison vent. This will allow the rest of your party to pass through without succumbing to the poison it was pumping out.
How to Solve the Stone Statue Puzzle
In the Enclave Library there will be a stone statue and four rune pedestals. There are three runes around the statue, the fourth one though, the Rune of the Wolf is missing and in order to receive it as a reward from the NPC called Rath you need to rescue the druid Halsin from the Goblin Camp. Rath can be found in the main room of the Emerald Grove.
- Other Ways to Obtain the Rune of the Wolf
There are two other ways in which you can obtain the Rune of the Wolf. One is pick-pocketing Rath by removing the rune from his pocket and the other is by murdering everyone in Emerald Grove which will make you enemies with the druids. The latter option is not advised as it will lock you out of some quests afterward.
How to Enter the Hidden Vault
Once you have the Rune of the Wolf in your possession you need to return to the Enclave Library and interact with the pedestal that is missing a rune. Open your inventory and drag the Rune of the Wolf into the missing slot and then interact with it along with the Eagle, Bear, and Elk runes to lower the statue and uncover spiral stairs.
- Hidden Vault Loot
Inside the Hidden Vault you will find Sorrow, a Rare Glaive that has the ability to pull enemies with a special attack. You will also find an Uncommon Clothing piece called the Robe of Summer, which provides you with resistance against cold Damage. Other loot you will find includes various high-quality potions, poisons, and scrolls.
