What is the Resonance Stone

The Resonance Stone gives you and those around you the Steeped in Bliss condition which gives you great joy. The artifact can be used to gain positive effects, such as increased advantage, on Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom to save throws.

These characteristics will be critical in resolving conflicts or dialogues with others. The artifact also doubles all the Psychic Damage that is done to you and those around you. This effect will only affect those who stand within its radius.

Although the Resonance Stone will give the owner a good mental buff it will also weaken them to physical attacks. Also keep in mind that any buff and debuff it does to you, it also does to your enemies. When you use the Resonance Stone, all of its positive and negative effects will be in effect for 1 hour in real time.

How to Find Resonance Stone

You will be able to obtain this artifact early in the game in a small area south-west of Necrotic Laboratory in the Mind Flayer Colony near the Mind-Archive Interface (X: 692, Y: -114). This area is only accessible after you have defeated Ketheric Thorm on top of Moonrise Towers.

When you arrive, you will quickly find that the Mind Flayer Colony is hostile to outsiders and you will need to kill them in order to search their corpses. The Resonance Stone in Baldur's Gate 3 is random loot, which means that it does not have a specific drop rate. If you continue to clear enemies you will eventually receive it. You will need a bit of luck though as the drop rate is extremely low.

The Mind Flayers are strong enemies that you will find difficult to defeat early in the game. It is therefore recommended that you save your game before you engage in combat so that you can fight them again if you fail while farming their drops.
