We have a collection of cheats and tips that will help you find different ways to reach and eliminate your targets in Assassin's Creed Mirage, an action-adventure game set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age.
Assassin's Creed Mirage follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty, against the Order of the Ancients, who desire peace through control. The main narrative of the game focuses on Basim's internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
As soon as you reach the city of Baghdad and start your investigation you will be able to call upon your eagle companion Enkidu for help. Get into the habit of sending out the eagle to scout any fortified or restricted area before you attempt to enter it. Enkidu will be able to mark patrolling enemies and reveal objectives and opportunities which will allow you to plan your routes better.
You can make marking enemies even easier with Enkidu's spotting capabilities by upgrading them via the Predator skill tree. Keep in mind that in later missions the eagle's abilities can be blocked by marksmen soldiers. You will usually find one of this type of soldier in a given area and they can be found positioned at a high vantage point that surveys the area. Taking out this soldier should be your priority.
Whenever you enter any restricted areas in Assassin's Creed Mirage you should put a lot of emphasis on stealth in order to move around without getting drawn into combat. Keep in mind that Health Elixers are not easy to come by and Basim cannot take a lot of damage. The best strategy is to remain hidden and eliminate enemies that are in your way with easy one-hit kill assassinations.
In Assassin's Creed Mirage Basim can only lock onto and parry one enemy at a time so avoid at all costs encounters where you face more than two enemies at once as combat becomes too difficult. In those situations, you should just run away.
Being proficient at parrying attacks in Assassin's Creed Mirage is the key to being successful at combat in this game. Attacks that can be parried glow bright yellow and will typically have very little windup forcing you to react quickly and instinctively to block the incoming attack. The tougher enemies you encounter will require multiple parries to break their guard and leave them open for assassination.
Be Prepared to Run from Fights
If you are confronted by multiple enemies your best course of action is to run as trying to fend off all the attacks will be too difficult. Don't be afraid to run, it is preferable to escape and stay alive than to die in combat and have to restart from a checkpoint.
The best way to evade your pursuers is to climb over walls and other obstacles in order to slow them down. Your objective when you do this is to break the line of sight so you can then find a hiding spot where you remain until the danger has passed. There may be instances where being chased has broken up the patrol routes of certain guards enabling you to easily pick them off or avoid them altogether when you get back to your mission.
Focus on unlocking every skill that is under the Trickster skill tree for Basim as doing so will help unlock and upgrade his tools which can be very useful during missions. You will find that the Knife Recovery, Engineer, and Pickpocket Mastery in particular are some of the best skills in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
Throwing knives in Assassin's Creed Mirage are silent and deadly and are the first tool Basim gets access to. This ranged weapon with the right upgrades is capable of doing useful things, these include one-hit headshot kills, opening barred doors, and blowing up an oil pot from afar.
You will given the choice of five tools when you get your first tool unlock for the Banu Musa brothers. Make sure you pick the Smoke Bombs, enemies caught in their explosion can't move, attack, or detect Basim which results in easy assassinations. Basim can also use Smoke Bombs as a distraction when he needs to escape.
If you want to find the best outfits, weapons, and upgrades, you should search for Gear Chests. These chests are scattered throughout Baghdad where they are usually hidden in restricted areas and fortified buildings. You can identify them by looking for the gold Gear Chest icon on your compass and by using Eagle Vision. Once you've found a Gear Chest, you'll need to solve a puzzle to unlock its contents.
In Assassin's Creed Mirage it is essential to gather resources by pickpocketing civilians and looting chests. As you wander around in Baghdad, always keep an eye out for the pickpocket prompt or use eagle vision to spot pouches hanging on the belts of passersby that are ripe for snatching. If you are in any building, use Eagle Vision to highlight the lootable chests which are indicated by gold, for resources or supplies.
By doing all of this, you can quickly amass valuable trinkets, Dinhars, and useful Tokens. You can sell trinkets to traders and use the Dinhars to buy Steel Ingots, Leather, and Components to upgrade your weapons, armor, and tools early in the game.
Meanwhile, Tokens have various uses depending on their category. For instance, Assassin's Creed Mirage Merchant Tokens can get you trader discounts, while Scholar Tokens are particularly useful later in the game.
A Cartographer can be found in the central Round City region of Baghdad who sells maps leading to various collectibles in exchange for Scholar Tokens. Whether you are in search of Gear Chests, Lost Books, or Enigmas (such as the Assassin's Creed Mirage Left Behind Enigma), the Cartographer can assist you in your quest.
Keep in mind that the Round City is a high-level area that is difficult to access and is patrolled by guards. You will eventually find the Cartographer naturally towards the end of the story.
