How to Find Ursaluna's Friend in Southern Ruins

Local Concerns in Detective Pikachu Returns are side quests that you can choose to take on during the game. During The Fabled Aurora case in Detective Pikachu Returns you will come across one in the form of a Ursaluna who is in need of help. This Pokemon's friend has gone missing and you need to use your sleuthing skills to find the Pokemon's companion in the Southern Ruins.

Before you can search for the Ursaluna's friend you must first progress the story until you enter the Southern Ruins temple where you need to solve the Passimian statue puzzle and meet Galarian Darmanitan. Once you reach this point, Galarian Darmanitan will eventually ask you to help find his friends, Galarian Mr. Mime and a Bergmite. You will be able to find both of these characters in a room on floor B1 of the temple located on the right-hand side with a Crustle outside. However, the entrance to the room is blocked by ice and the way to clear it to gain access is to shatter it by riding Galarian Darmanitan with Pikachu.

When you enter the room you will find the Ursaluna's friend encased in ice as well as Galarian Mr. Mime and Bergmite. If you approach Ursaluna's friend and press the R button on your Nintendo Switch controller you will punch the ice and shatter it, freeing the Pokemon. Once freed the Ursaluna's friend will express gratitude and return to its companion outside the Southern Ruins. If you now go back to the Ursaluna and speak to it the Local Concern is finished.
