April Game Releases 2017
Here is our run down of some of the main video game releases coming up in April 2017. A fair few sequels and remastered/updated games due to hit the shelves this month.
Persona 5 (April 4th - PS3 and PS4)
Persona 5, which is actually the 6th installment in the Persona series is a role-playing video game developed by Atlus and Sega. Despite the long history the story will be open to new players.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (April 7th - PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One)
A remastered version of the 2011 released Bulletstorm. The original developers 'People Can Fly' separated from Epic Games in 2015 and have re-formed as an independent studio. THey are also working on a new title as yet unannounced.
Yooka-Laylee (April 11th - Linux, macOS, PS4, PC and Xbox One) A Nintendo Switch version planned for release at some point in 2017.
Funded by a Kickstarter campaign to raise £175,000 in 2015, Yooka-Laylee has since raised over £2m and is now just days away from launch. An all-new open-world platformer from the key creative talent behind the Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country games.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (April 28th - Nintendo Switch)
This updated and upgraded deluxe version of the Wii U game is set to include new items, characters and a revamped battle mode.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 (PS4, PC and Xbox One)
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a first-person tactical shooter developed by CI Games. The first game in the series to be open world and with a less linear story line to previous versions.
