The Last Guardian is finally here
The Last Guardian, a game that has been in production for nearly a decade has finally been released on PlayStation 4. It is out now in North America, Europe and Japan, but will be out in the UK on the 9th.
A successor to the highly regarded Shadow of the Colossus, released in 2006, this new tale of adventure and mystery was first announced in 2007 and has had a legion of fans holding their breath ever since to discover if the new experience will live up to the expectations placed on it.
The game itself as with it predecessor is designed to be an artistic and emotional ride as much as an action game and the look and story of the game will be its strong points.
The last guardian is the story of a young boy who has to escape from a castle with a create named Trico. The pair must work together to solve challenges and discover the answers to the mysteries. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and released exclusively on PlayStation 4, it has been hailed as a work of art by some although the game play mechanics have been mentioned as not being easy to get to grips with.
