Gaming is likeable to an illegal substance. Once you get a hang of it, you can never let go. If you have been within the gaming circles for a while, or maybe you are a newbie to video games, then you are in for a treat and will be spoilt for choice in 2016. Now, before you get to pounce on the hundreds of games from different developers that will be out this year, you would rather be choosy; and have a list of the most anticipated games that you MUST have your hands (sorry, gaming pads) on.

7. Battlefield 5

If you don't know Battlefield series, then you must have been born to the gaming world a few days ago. One of the most successful gaming franchises of all time, this series is the reason why EA has had so many gamers playing their first-person shooter games. Battlefield has for a long time been known for reincarnating the greatest wars of our times such as the World War II, the Vietnam War as well as some of the US-Russian conflicts that have existed. Now, some of you might argue that after a little disappointed from Battlefield Hardline; where EA tried to experiment a little bit and things didn't turn out rather good, Battlefield 5 might be a flop. Well, that's something dangerous to bet on since EA in collaboration with DICE is working on a major revamp of the series. As matter of fact, EA wants this game to be part of its face in first-person shooter games, according to their CFO Blake Jorgensen; a clear sign of utter determination to deliver the best (consequently the most addictive for a gamer). Speculations are all we can work with right now as EA is still silent on a trailer; as well as the full plot, but according to the CFO, this release is going back to the military grounds, with better real life graphics and a gameplay worth diving yourself in.

6. Dues Ex: Mankind Divided

Running on Xbox one, PC and PS4, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be the latest installment in the Deus Ex series. Developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix, this cyberpunk-themed role-playing action gaming can best be described as unique. Why? Unlike the one hundred and one games you have always played where the end is predetermined and fixed for every player, the end for Deus Ex: Mankind divided will be based on the decision each player makes individually. Interesting right?

During the gameplay, you will be playing as Adam Jensen, returning from the events of Human Revolution, whereby new terrorist groups have emerged fighting for the equality of augmented individuals. The gameplay is set in the Czech Republic capital, Prague, in the futuristic 2029. The characters are rather “high tech” with characters like Adam Jensen having a robotic arm coupled with some super-strength capabilities.

This game is highly anticipated not just because of the improved graphics and great gameplay storyline. The fact that you can actually control your own destiny is one intriguing feature anyone would want to get his hands on. Now, don't be discouraged that the release date for this game is still under wraps like Battlefield 5. Deus Ex: Mankind divided is slated for release on 23rd February 2016. So immediately after you buy roses for valentines, be ready to buy the release.
