Top 10 Ghosts in Video Games

03. Zero / Fatal Frame - Ghosts Galore

Created as a combination of supernatural romp and survival horror game for Xbox, PS2, Wii and later the Wii U, as well as 3DS by Tecmo and Grasshopper Manufacture, in Japan the game was known as Zero while in North America it was called Fatal Frame -- but it should have been called “Bring a fresh pair of underwear, you're gonna need 'em!”

No, seriously, in terms of ghosts in video games we could probably put together a Top 10 Ghosts of Fatal Frame countdown if we tried hard enough! Off the top of our head and among the more spooky ghosts in the game are the Bound Man, the Girl in the Well, the Broken Neck Ghost, and Crawling Girl... And then there was our personal fav The Floating Woman.

And those are just the ones that do not have proper names or identities - there were more that did!

The original Fatal Frame was released in December 2001, and since then there were several sequels and spin-offs added to the series. We don't have to tell you that that whole sequel process happens because the original game was pretty good at what it was intended to do - scare the poop outta ya!

The thin about the ghosts in Fatal Frame that sets it apart from other games with ghosts is probably the fact that, you know, the ghosts in Fatal Frame? Yeah they could own you! They were dangerous, nasty, spooky KILLER ghosts!

Look there is a reason why a game that is almost 15 years old still made this list - and as high in the countdown as it did. If you never played it and you like ghosts in games, we recommend it. Just be sure to play it during the daytime, with your family priest on speed dial. We're just saying...
