06. Forza Horizon: Forza Legend (80G) Earn a Medal in 146 different cars!
Considering the nature of this particular Achievement you can be forgiven for scoffing at it and thinking it is a case of a gamer confusing grind play with challenge... But man, this one is a very significant challenge!
You see as a general rule we don’t include this sort since it really is a grind-able one, but in the case of Forza Legend it is also a very entertaining challenge - because of the manner in which it is unlocked.
Basically for each car in your garage - and for each car in the Autoshow - which means for each car in the game - you are presented with a set of challenges specific to that car - the completion of any one of which being sufficient to satisfy the requirement for this Achievement...
The Forza Legend Achievement was added to the game by the 1000 Club DLC - which is a FREE game play expansion for the game so there is no good reason not to download it and add it to your game - and no good reason not to unlock this Achievement!
So what you need to do then is get behind the wheel of 146 different cars and complete at least one of those challenges, thus unlocking a Gold Medal as a result.Now bear in mind that all of the effort that you put in to unlocking the following Achievements previously ALSO applies here:
Ferrari Fan (20G) Medal 14 different Ferrari
Ford Champion (20G) Medal 13 Fords
It's Just Money (30G) Medal 14 cars that are each worth at least 1m Cr.
Lamborghini Lover (20G) Medal 8 different Lamborghini
Nissan Ninja (20G) Medal 7 different Nissan
Sir Challenge-a-Lot (20G) Medal 20 different British cars
Snake Charmer (20G) Medal 3 Shelby
Well Engineered (20G) Medal 10 different BMW
Do the math and that collection of like Achievements already puts you 89 Cars and Medals up... So that leaves you with 57 left to medal (assuming you already unlocked the above Achievements)...
So in addition to already stacking up numbers for medals/cars while doing the previous Achievements if you happen to already own the Season Pass for the game you'll discover that owning that offers you an incredible bonus in terms of flexibility since it includes most of the car packs, which means you will be in a position to pick and choose in terms of how much Cr. you end up needing to spend expanding your personal garage to unlock these and this...
There is also the point that the Season Pass also includes the Rally Expansion - which as its- see what you actually own that can apply to this first -- just saying.
At that point you basically start spinning though your garage to see which cars have at least one medal already and which do not, with the ones that do not being the ones you want to give a go with!
We said that this earns its place on the list of entertaining Achievements and it certainly does - bearing in mind that unlocking a Gold Medal means completing any one of the following selection of challenge activities:
Air Skills (Perform the designated number of Air Skills)
Clean Road Trip (Drive from Point A to Point B in the designated time or better with no serious hits)
Daredevil Combo (Complete the designated number of Daredevil Combos in the designated time)
Festival Events (Finsh 3rd or better in the designated event).
Smash Anything (Smash a random number of objects with your car)
Speed Zone (Hit the target speed or better at a specific Speed Zone)
Street Race (Finish 3rd or better in a designated Street Race)
Timed Road Trip (Travel from Point A to Point B in the set time or better)
Top Speed (Attain the designated speed for the designated time in that car)
The sampling above should present a pretty good picture for what you will have available in terms of entertainment as part of the challenges - and that really is the point here as this is all about fun!
Since you only need ONE medal per car that will make the process all the faster and the easier... Though it should be noted that completing ALL of the challenges for a given whip basically marks that ride as completed and fully mastered.
This is one of those Achievements where getting there is more than half the fun - and that is why it certainly earns its place here!

I can't believe All Characters Unlocked from Warriors Orochi 2 wasn't on there.
imho, i believe that the Blue Dragon - Completed Item Record achievement should have at least been in the top 5 >.< took me many playthroughs to get it... (Before The Ultra Hard Mod DLC...)
