Christmas Around the Virtual Worlds

Digimon Masters players have a lot to look forward to this holiday season with the arrival of the "Joy to the World" event in game. The Christmas event will run through January 10th. As you are reveling in the festive spirit, Events Planner Irine has been hard at work organizing activities for one and all. Let's help her out and spread the warmth to everyone in Lagendia!

Event 1: Help Decorate The Christmas Tree! (Repeatable)

Think Christmas and what comes to mind? Jolly Santa? Red nosed reindeer? A sneaky kiss under the mistletoe? A bare Christmas tree? Hey wait, what? Bare Christmas trees on Christmas?! That will not do!

We heard Santa Duck and Rudolph Duck drop really cool festive ornaments that would look perfect on the tree, so let's get huntin' today. Collect 10 Tree Materials and return to Irene and receive great rewards!

A new Elemental System Dungeon and some seasonal additions were added to the game on December 13th, with the exciting event running where players can gain cool functional items every hour and enjoy a seasonal snow fall event for the chance of even more bonuses. Of course, several cute Santa outfits, balloons and accessories are also available to provide the perfect attire for any Christmas party, as well as staying warm and cozy while hunting evil monsters around the world of Dragotaka. 1. Before 20:00 (December 24th), you can claim a Christmas Stocking from Santa Claus (Cronus, 250,513).

2. On December 24th, you can hang a stocking on the Christmas Tree (244, 513) near Santa Claus at 20:00-24:00.

3. On December 25th-29th, you can get back your stocking from the tree and receive your reward. If your stocking is the same as Santa Claus', you will receive a Christmas Delight Pack.

It's Frostfell Time in Norrath, again! Song fills the air, Norrathians bustle to purchase that special gift and all the fixing for their feast, and those Frostfell Elves are out in force once more, bring cheer and gifts of the season to one and all. Heck, even Lord Nagafen wants in on the festivities!

Frostfell is the Live Event for December, first run in 2005, in celebration of Christmas.

Scattered about the city zones you will find harvestable stacks of snowballs (on about a 1-minute respawn timer). Gather them to get a pile of 20 Snowballs (which stack in 200s now). When you target a mob, or another player, and use the snowball you will throw a snowball at the target causing them to run one of several different animations including shaking a fist at the thrower or being knocked down! Get your guild together for a Frostfell party and have a snowball fight contest!

Or if you prefer something a little more than a snowball, you can craft a Sturdy Fruitcake to pitch at your fellow Norrathians. A more hefty hit to the face, these fruitcakes will cause the player (or NPC -- try one of each on your favorite city guard!) to fall to the ground in shock.

Hellgate, the hit MMORPG from T3Fun, has had a series of December events announced today. Players will find themselves very busy clearing these events, and enjoying the challenges and rewards the events bring. The events include a 12 Days of Christmas event, a Jump Start Event, a Rookie Challenge Event, and a Lucky Coupons event.

For the 12 Days of Christmas event, Hellgate players will be tasked to hunt specific items for each day of the 12 days. in Jump Start, new players will receive huge experience point boosts. The Rookie Challenge event challenges players to level up to specific levels, with rewards waiting for those who succeed. And finally, the Lucky Coupons are making a return this December!
