In Archero there are plenty of abilities to choose from and each subsequet chapter you reach will add new ones that you can select from. From the second chapter you will be able to choose a starter ability, the choices you are given is random and different each time. These abilities will be offensive to defensive with some of them affecting the character itself. Listed below are abilities you should consider if they become available:
Ricochet
One of the best abilities to have in Archero early is Ricochet. With this ability your arrows once they have hit a target will bounce off and hit other enemies that are in the area. Although Ricochet is particularly useful for dealing with multiple enemies it is not much use against bosses.
Piercing Shot
With this ability your arrows will go through an enemy and possibly hit another one. The Piercing Shot ability is particularly effective when it is paired with the Bouncy Wall ability and you are faced with multiple enemies as no shot is wasted.
Wingman
Wingman is one of the best abilities to have once you get a pet equipped as it allows you to stand behind it and let the pet absorb the oncoming projectiles looking to deal you damage. When you reach the later adventures in the game it becomes a useful layer of extra protection.
Arrow Abilities
Abilities that give you an arrow such as Multishot, Side Arrows, Diagonal Arrows, and Rear Arrows are always useful to have in Archero as they give you additional arrows when shooting.
