This game's arcade mode follows a good/bad ending pattern , depeding on how you play throughout the game you will either get the bad ending in the form of a cutscene with menacing and morbid music before the game goes into credits roll , otherwise you get the good ending which translates to your character/team 's actual ending

The type of ending will be determined by which final boss you meet because the game has not 1 but 2 of them , the choice of the final boss depends on how you finish the mid-boss kusanagi in stage 4 , if you defeat him with regular or special move then adelheid will appear as the final boss and give you the bad ending otherwise if you defeat kusanagi with a super move that means you will fight the kagura sisters(chizuru & maki) followed by mukai as the true final boss and defeating him will reward you with the good ending ..
