I want lot of diamond because to waste them on building like how many time like for example I upgrading a mortar and it will say 1hour and 15 minutes so I want gem to boost them faster and go up level because I am only level 16 and I'm trying get 190 to upgrade my headquarter to level 8 and I want to be the top player in global to be the top player I know I need to play well and hard to be the top player and I want all my weapon or machines and resource to be maxed out thanks!!

You may be experiencing these problems, like most new players, for the reason that you have let your victory points gain too rapidly. Boom Beach does not match players of the same prestige level but of how well their campaign is doing. If you notice while you scout other bases you will see that player's victory points may be within a few below or above you. Players may influence their victory points to achieve this or simply leave the game idle for a while and have the blackguard take their points away. From my experience, I do the same thing. It is best to leave yourself with a small field of attack by letting a radar remain at level one. That way you do not have to worry about other players even touching you at all. I've been playing a few days now and have headquarters level 6, have not wasted any diamonds, have gone through all my upgrades with self-sufficiency, and have not lost a single resource to enemy attack. Nor have I been scouted.
