Synths in Aliens: Fireteam Elite are well-armed androids that are capable of taking down a fireteam of marines from a distance using their precision aim. It is therefore essential whenever you encounter a Synth that you stay behind cover and hug nearby walls to avoid their attention. There are several types of Synths, the most dangerous ones being the heavy Synths who can take more damage and those armed with flamethrowers. To take down Synths, you need to switch to electrified ammo in order to disrupt their patterns and aim for the head.
