If you are new to Aliens: Fireteam Elite, it is recommended that you begin by playing the Demolisher class while you get to grips with the game. This class of marine gives you the choice of equipping either the L56A3 Smartgun or the Type 99 Incinerator (flamethower) as their secondary weapon when starting out. The L56A3 Smartgun has a decent sized magazine and features an auto lock-on option that will enable you to target the nearest enemy to you and unleash a barrage of rounds that is capable of annihilating an entire horde of Xenomorphs when you hold down the trigger. The Type 99 Incinerator can be equally effective and does not require any aim, you simply have to point it in the general direction of the enemy and pull the trigger. The Type 99 Incinerator also has a large magazine and can easily clear rooms, it can also deal burn effects to the heavier, harder to kill enemies you encounter.
