Xenomorphs have acid blood and when killed these aliens will leave a temporary acidic obstacle in its wake. Make sure you dodge these when you need to move fast for whatever reason, as they will deplete your health points if you make contact with them. There is a good range of enemy types in Aliens: Fireteam Elite, including synthetics and alien variants that can spit or explode acid when they die, it is therefore crucial that you deal with these types of Xenomorph before they get too close.
