In AFK Arena there are plenty of Heroes to choose from and knowing which ones you should be putting your resources into can be confusing. This Best Heroes guide will point you in the right direction by giving you a rough idea of the best Heroes you should foucus on during the different stages of the game.

As you can see from our lists below for the different stages of the game we believe the best heroes in AFK Arena are Brutus, Shemira, Ferael, Nemora, Lucius, and Athalia who all fill different roles. The two Heroes we feel should be in every team is Nemora who is a great addition because of her superior support-abilities which include healing and Brutus who is unquestionably the best tank choice and also a great damage dealer which is why many people believe he is the single best hero in the game overall.

Best Team

The following lineup is a well balanced team that has been tried and tested carefully by a lot of top players and has been proven to be very successful in AFK Arena.

Best Early Game Heroes (Level 1-60)

During this stage of AFK Arena the Heroes that can carry their teams through to Level 60 with the least investment are the best options.

Best Mid Game Heroes (Level 61-160)

When you reach this stage of AFK Arena the Legendary Heroes get their Ultimate Level 2 and Mythic Heroes get their 4th skill which makes them more viable than what they were previously in the early game.

Best Late Game Heroes (Level 161+)

When you reach this stage of the game your Legendary Heroes will no longer get any additional skill upgrades and they will fall off in power which will result in them becoming less workable. The result of this means the game is now more evolved around Mythic Heroes.
