You begin in a dark room with lighting a fire the only option available to you. If the fire is not continuously stoked the temperature of the room will drop, if after a period of time the fire is not stoked you will stoke it automatically to keep it lit. It is impossible for the fire to go out during a continuous play session. After a period of time stoking the fire a stranger will stagger into the room and eventually when she has warmed up a new area called Silent Forsest will become unlocked and you will be able to start Building Your Village.
