A Dark Room is an open-source software role-playing text-based game that is experience driven and designed to tell its story entirely through environmental clues, rather than relying on explanitory dialogue. The game begins with you awakening in a cold, dark room after a mysterious event and slowly as the game progresses gaining the abilities to collect resources, interact with strangers, start a village, and explore a world.

This is actually a decent game. Don't expect any visual stimulation, but if you enjoy puzzle type games give it 10mins and you won't be able to put it down. It has no ads and no micro transactions. Check out the gameplay video below and decide for yourself.

The game is available on iOS and Android for ‎$0.99/€1.09
