Question for Pokemon Y

Ok, so I was playing Pokemon-Amie with one of my legendaries, and randomly my Pokemon was staring at me with it's mouth hanging open and then a little orange smiley face icon appeared at the lower left of the screen. What does the little orange smiley face icon do?

One of the features for Pokemon Amie is making facial expressions with your Pokemon via the 3DS Camera. When that Smiley Face Icon appears, I believe you're suppose to try to mimic that expression. By doing so, your Pokemon's enjoyment will rise.

Hope this helps!

Also if you keep on seeing that smiley face icon and keep on making smiley faces, turning your head sideways, etc. U will play this little "minigame" where you must make the same facial feature that it asks you to make. I myself have not mastered the technique in orderfor the "mini-game" to pop up.
