You can use it in Team Battles; collect the stars and when it's full, press the X button. This activates the magnet, making the toys jump on eachother making a totom pole, powering up your Pokemon toys. Your toys regenerate health faster, there Attack is stronger, and so on. The Pokemon will use attacks of the bottom toy, which is the one you control. I recomend using it for the final battle as the magnet won't last forever, as when the star gauge runs out, hyper mode will end. The star gauge will fill up when you collect stars, which appear when you defeat an opponent.
