Died against Groudon then the saved game. Stuck.

I died against Groudon, I accidentally saved the game so I can't go back to fight Groudon. I'm stuck at the lava lake, do I have to replay the whole game?

You don't have to replay the entire game. If Groudon doesn't reappear as you approach the Lava Lake in the Cave of Origin (I'm pretty sure it should), then just continue the storyline. The game won't let you continue the main storyline unless you catch/defeat Groudon.

If for some weird reason it doesn't reappear, simply continue the storyline and head back there after you have defeated the Elite Four.

Warrior13, The legendary Pokemon killed me, it won't reappear as well as me being unable to continue the game. Any other ideas? (Gym door locked, Groudon not appearing)

There is a secret cave at the beginning of the cave

After the elite four you can fight groudon or kyogre again if you killed it

This happened to me too, there is another entrance to the lake where Groudon is in that cave. It's on the Second level to the left go all the way down and it brings you straight to the crystal where you fight him Smile
