Question for Animal Crossing: New Leaf
I can’t open my inventory.
I was fishing on my beach, and went into the recycling shop to sell what I had caught. The screen went black and nothing happened. I tried pressing the home button on my DS, but nothing happened, so I knocked the game off completely. I turned my DS back on and the game was working again. I came out of my house and Resetting was waiting for me. I spoke to him, and then went to check my inventory, but it wouldn’t open. I tried tapping the icon at the top of the screen and nothing would work. I tried to save my game, but the save menu didn’t come up either.
Has anyone had this happen to them and how can I fix this? I keep all my tools in my letters in my pocket, so I cannot get to any of them.

This just happened to me today. Pressing the X button won’t let me open my inventory. The only way I can use my tools is by pressing the arrow buttons on the DS (to rotate them out). I still haven’t figured out a solution but maybe you have since you asked this a while ago...
