Amiibo didn't move in??

I invited Wolf Link to move into my town, and he said he would move in the very next day. It's actually been a couple days after I invited him that I didn't get on. But when I did get on, I didn't see him anywhere in my town. Does anyone know why? :(

Have you tried looking in the campground? I would invite him again and he should be there (it will probably happen the next day, but I don't have much experience with the campground myself). I believe that all compatible amiibos except the ones first introduced with Happy Home Designer stay in the campground and do not move in unless you persuade them. Personally, I don't really know as I only have the Happy Home Designer amiibos, but I hope this helps you!
