I've played both the 3DS and the Wii version of the game, obviously the gameplay would be different, but I didn't expect the 3DS version to be so poor. Some of the gameplay and the cutscenes were glitchy, and the way they have different versions of the same character when they obtain a new item is just annoying. It's like they were trying to compensate for not having lengthy levels.

Also, having the game load every time you enter a door to a new area, is irritating. So far, my purchase of a 3DS is not worth it. Sure, I can see things on the screen in 3D, but seeing the One Ring spin around and around every ten minutes gets old.

I give Lego Lord of the Rings for the 3DS 2 out of 10
