Save Anywhere
To save anywhere in the game without a church select 'Misc' in the menu followed by 'Download Bonus Items'. Regardless if there are any items or not to download you will still be asked to save your current progress to download a bonus item. Doing this will enable you to save anywhere as long as you have access to the menu.
