Cave Story 3DS Cheats and Tips

When you manage to complete Sanctuary Time Attack mode under the indicated time limit you will unlock alternate music at the 'Title' screen and an alternate character pointer.

Running Hell Music, and Curly Pointer:

Under 6 minutes.

Safety Music, and Sue Pointer:

3 minutes.

Toroko's Theme Music, and Toroko Pointer:

Under 5 minutes.

White Music, and King Pointer:

Under 4 minutes.

When you complete the indicated tasks you will get the corresponding ending.

Bad Ending:

Choose to leave with Kazuma after your second time through the Egg Corridor.

Normal Ending:

Complete the Sacred Grounds area.

Good Ending:

Complete the escape sequence at the end of the game without going through the Sacred Grounds.

Complete the 'Sacred Ground' stage to unlock 'Time Attack' mode which will allow you to choose from 5 of the 6 weapons and set the desired amount of health.

Once you have spoken with Chaco about the Jellyfish Juice take a rest in her bad. When you do this you will wake up with Chaco in it and her lipstick in your inventory.

When the Machine Gun is at Level 3 it can be used as a 'jet pack'. To do this you simply jump and aim it downward to float up until your ammunition runs out.
