When I ask my sim to do something, it won't do it, what should I do??
When the sim is upstairs and I ask to do something downstairs, it would say that something's in the way to do it. How can I make that stop?

First make sure there is nothing blocking the stairs or the Sim. Then make sure the stairs are in the right place. Also try to reset the Sim by holding down the left trigger (LT) and then press the 'A' button on the mailbox. If you are using cheats, the button is somewhere in between other options. If you aren't using cheats, "Reset Sim..." is the only option. Press the 'A' button the "Reset Sim..." option and select the Sim that won't move. It should put them in a slightly different place. If that doesn't work, then I'm sorry, because I don't know.

Normally when that happens for me the roof was on top of the stairs so check for that.
