Delete items in your household inventory. Delete large unwanted items; they take up the most space. Also delete useless decorations like magazines and blinds all over your house. You could also move into the largest house because I think it will allow you to place more objects. (I hate the fire meter)

large houses make the fire meter bad also, my buddy made a five story house with practically nothing in it and the fire meter was full

I have had many probs wif da fire meter I'm building my own house and I can't place any more objects. The only way u can get it to go down is if u reduce ur inventory stuff. ( I hate the fire meter it makes the game extremely hard to work wif 😡 I hope EA will make an update soon lol

make a smaller but more modern house so that way you can add more stuff into it. if you know how to contrast your home you will be able to make it look bigger without it actually having to be.

If you have other games like I did if you just delete them but not the one you like to use it goes down quite a bot

It does work if you save and quit, you fire meter can't be completely filled it needs to have a little open space for it to work I do it all the time trust me it work for xbox 360 irk about other consoles though

If you have a house in one if the larger lots you can add more stuff with out taking up space on the fire meter. Also, if you have a little bit of space on your meter (it may only work for xbox360) and you leave (back to the active game screen, not the starting screen) and go back to build and buy mode, it should go down a little. Hope this helps!😄
