Well your kids will be deleted from the game but I promise your house will not. I got a divorce with my husband and I kicked him out of the house without deleting my house either. All you do is go to Town Mode I think it is and then you click on your house. There should be an option that comes up saying "Copy House." Click on that and then a screen will pop up saying something like "do you want to save a copy of your house blah blah blah?" Click "yes, copy!" and then go back to live mode. Click on your sim and ask them to move. Kick out your sims you don't want with you anymore. Then once you get to your new house. Then once they get to their new house, ask them to move again and go to your same property that you were at before. Click on it and it should say "restore property" or something like that. You'll know when you see it. Then it'll bring up a screen that has different houses in the scroll menu on the left hand side. Scroll down until you see you house and then click ok and your house'll be restored and your kids will be gone! I know it's a long process but it works! Smile

What you can also do is you can have one child marry and ask spouse to move and choose kids move in with husband
Guest answered:

Its pretty simply go to your phone then click move then it will give you 3 options, 1- my house, 2-new house, and 3-kick out, if you want to keep them in the game move your son or daughter to my house and leave yourself and whoever you want to live with in the new house option Smile hope this helped

I’m not having any problems with my house. I’ve moved sims out and stayed in my house
My problem is, I want to move kids out, but I want to still acknowledge them. Visit them, visit me. Why isn’t it like that. I need to move some out, but don’t want to loose them
Guest answered:

You can't you have to kill them or keep them in your household till they die or move house and kick them out but you can't interact with them if you kick them out

Guest answered:

You press on the parent, cell phone, move, then kick out your young adult (do so if you don't mind deleting young adult) when you do so get a new house then boom no more unwanted sims my dudes
