Question for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

Hi lost planet players. My friend told me that you can fly the giant moth in mission 5 ( mountain route 2 ) he said to press y or something to jump on it. Is this true.

I really doubt that is true, I havent tried it myself but it goes way to fast, and if you go near it you get blown away, so no.
