Lean up against the car and start tapping A (I think). He'll push the car back. The car is on fire, so it's a source of light, so it stops you from getting eaten.

I'm not sure if your talking about this one, but there is one mission where the car is on fire, and it moves down a hill by itself, what you have to do is you stay by the car, and when it moves hold A to sprint with the car
