You can, but it does not count towards your live profile, only the local account.

Yes, but you can't level up your live account. It levels up the local account instead.

No you can't not at all only on zombies because in custom games you are the level of your online/multiplayer acount but you are able to get every gun

Yes you can but it does not go to your live account only local once you kill alot of people in local you can level up
