How can I save a update from call of duty black ops to my usb.

Im going to update my game so I can play multiplayer against cpu and I need to know how to save it to my usb because I'm using another friends xbox live cause I don't have it

Um, you can't? The update is not a package you get and then run, it is a process that changes the game files on your console. You need to actually do it WITH your console mate.
