You can't play combat training without internet, however you can play something similar to that by playing split screen on you own, to do this first you have to go to the split screen menu ( I'm assuming that you know what this means) then you have to go to the game options, then you have to change the amount of enemies you want to your liking ( and your allies, or you can have just your self). Then start the game. The only difference is that you don't level up and all your weapons are already unlocked.

Well I would suggest taking your Xbox to a wifi hotspot like a hotel or a friends house and download the update.
